@Upsydaisy shame about your compost, perhaps he did it on purpose so to stop you, just a thought. Yes and thank you about my wallflowers, I was looking at the ones in the garden and a lot don't look too bad so a lot of them might probably will recover.

Hubby refused to get the car out of the garage so can't get out in the garden if i wanted to.

To get out into the back garden the back door is in the back of the garage, the car is a estate car and a Volvo V50 so it takes up all of the garage. Not enough to squeeze past. to get out.

No Gardening today its blimmin cold but the sun has been out on and off , my euphorbia looking rather sad along with my wallflowers , I expect them to spring back when the weather improves. Its looking better next week :) might be able to start sorting the garden out pruning the roses etc.

Been for another walk / hike today, it all started off well until you get near the top of the hill then the wind tries and rips your face off :hate-shocked:, that's when I realised it possibly wasn't a good day to be out for a walk. While walking through the snow drifts and the wind seemly following me I start questioning what can get frost bite hands / feet hmmm maybe other tackle :thud: :heehee:. I did get home in one piece and had a nice cup of tea and biscuits. I'll put some pictures on latter when I've been through them.

Had to water the pots in the back patio today. There has been a biting cold wind for the past few days and they were beginning to look dry. Hosepipe tap was frozen so had to water by hand :rolleyespink: nothing else I can do really until this weather passes. @Perki the wind has been ripping my face of most days on my walks but I have to get out of the house or my brain is going to turn into mush. I feel better afterwards even with slightly frozen.........face parts :heehee:

Brrrrrr! So blimmin cold again. Fed the birdies first.I am getting through loads of bird food at the moment but they are worth every penny.

Checked on the Koi and they seem ok but that pond is starting to freeze over. Will be keeping at eye on it.

Went into the greenhouse and id left a watering can full of ice on top of the radiator and that was a good temp for watering. The other ice in the bucket in there still hadnt fully melted-the water is far too cold to water the plants with so have sat that on the radiator now.

Back inside to warm up with a cup of tea now :coffee:

Spent half and hour trying to get into the car and then the gate would not open so another 5 minutes and we are out.. Talk of us being restricted even more with our movements re.covid 19, so extra shopping purchased and then took some photos around the garden.and cracked a few holes in the ponds. My day so far. :)

Too cold to work outside. -2 on thermometer and probably a few degrees colder with wind chill. Was planning on starting on apple tree, but according to BBC weather it is a tropical 6 degrees tomorrow. Going to do some chores in the house and start trees tomorrow.

Yes I have got a conservatory but can't get out because there's pots of blueberries around it outside.
But to do any gardening got to get into the garage to get any tools, haven't got a shed.:)
