Off to the new Bank in Sauze Vaussais ..Credit Agricole..For 6 years we have had just online banking and then we had a serious issue with our new phone line and internet suppliers SFR.. all got too complicated online so now face to face and really wishing we done it before now....To be able to have tax free savings accounts we have to prove with our paperwork that we do each year submit our Tax returns otherwise we are not permitted to have this type as foreigners...well ok we are actually aliens but that's fine..:what:..

UK send us most years a form to be signed by Marie Doctor somebody of with status, with our passports as I.D to state that we are still alive..otherwise without proof, it states they will stop our pensions.....:frown:

Hmmm I had...well sort of still have a moth orchid, aged about 7yrs old. It always bloomed twice a year and was problem free. It was in bloom during the 2019 Christmas period and had an amazing 19 blooms that remained for a couple of mths. Not sure if it just exhausted itself or what but since then nearly all the leaves have dropped off and the couple that remain are soft and floppy. Obviously there hasn't been any blooming since 2019....not really a place to bloom from!!! :heehee: poor withered little orchid. Hubs keeps edging it nearer to the compost bin......and I keep living in hope of a miracle.

So sorry @Snorky85 and @Black Orchid .....as you can see I'm not in a position to offer Moth Orchid advice........at all.:roflol:

Here's my poor little one......no tittering and no mentioning of the d*** word!!!!!;) IMG_20210106_135005.jpg

Well that was an unexpected long job...do not like leaving the log burner unattended..got burnt as a 3 year old, went up in flames from an unattended coal fire so I think shock like that does influence you. When I have had a real scare I can smell smoke..well I think I can...weird...
Yes so not only did nice Isabelle at the Bank want our tax form proof she want a lot more than she told us last visit...sorted now 2 hours later trying to track down contract numbers required..don't ask why...:noidea:back again tomorrow then.....yep

@DianneW that is too bad that you're experiencing problems with the bank.

Now, as the thread says, what are we doing in the garden today? Well, it is hovering around freezing again today so yes, it is mild, but no, it won't be time to do anything outside until around April 20th...

I made some more soil blocks and sprinkled what I believe are allium seeds onto them and dusted them with sand. The flowers that I tried to harvest the seeds from actually seemed to explode so that is why I'm not sure if I've sprinkled seeds and dried petals or just dried petals. Got my hopes up :fingers crossed:

This plant, cannot think of the name so grabbed a picture...when the stems grow and the sort of flowers appear..hard to describe..they end up as pods and eventually explode and land elsewhere, then self seed every year and new plants to share....like the 2nd Picture below...

Thanks again @Logan I had actually read up about keikis before but only on Moth orchids . That is why I took a chance of some bits on my Dad's Dendrobium orchid that I suspected could be keikis too. There are quite a few on the parent plant still, so if the three I have in the pot develop a strong root system I might remove the remaining keikis too.:dbgrtmb:

As I know my poor Moth orchid is over 7 years old from what the guy in the clip said it could just be naturally dying now as he said between 7- 10 yrs.
I shall keep persevering with it for a while longer.
