Nearly. I got stumped with infinity and the mathematical operations around it. I clearly remember scribbling on the back of my book "is infinity + 2 larger than infinity", feeling very smart and smug. :pathd:

The buttercup crowns sort of fall into that area of mathematics apparently :heehee:

Not much today verticut lawn and mowed it . I did replant the Acer yesterday I fear has Verticillium Wilt , I am still not sure I am hoping I've misdiagnosed it and its frost / winter damage . I'll keep an eye on it and if it shows signs of wilting I'll have to get rid .

Isn't it the wrong time of year to verticut? I don't have to bother about that on my lawns as they're 70% moss, daisies and clover . Also there are too many tree roots in them . Those are some of my excuses :heehee:.

Do you use a powered rake as well?

Depends on whether you use the Cauchy-Schwartz inequalities. :noidea:

Takes me back to childhood with debates about various things where my thing is x times better/faster than yours. Always ending up with ∞ followed by ∞+2 through ∞+n and ∞ x 2 to ∞ x ∞
Logically there is an infinite number of infinities; for example the infinity of +ve integers has to be less than the infinity of +ve and -ve integers.

Very little indeed beyond watering today - things in a reasonable state for visitors I think (except maybe the greenhouse)

Just fitted a 5kg weight to the greenhouse window, so that the solar opener can close and open without getting stuck. The instructions said a max weight of 15kgs, so hopefully it will work well……..

Has it not got any springs on it for closing?
They often put extra springs on ones used on side vents to help with the closing.
Roof vents should close under their own weight.

They have, but it just sticks open, as its a side window and not a roof, when it gets to a certain angle of closure it just sticks open………

So where have you put the weight?
                    If its a side window.

Connected to the lower fram of the window and then hanging in the inside, but although it says max of 15kgs, it couldnt push the 5kg open……so will buy a better one next year and maybe some solar roof vents instead.
