Nothing as there wasn't really anything needing doing, so just sat out relaxing.:)

I only played checkers with some of my perennials. The second last of my grown from seed columbines was getting too big to be coddled in the greenhouse so I dug up a poorly campanula and moved it to a spot with a bit more shade and placed another one not far from it then stuck the columbine in sunny spot next to a sibling plant. Yup, I know the seeds could have come from any old plant but I believe in, "nurture vs nature" with nurture being the dominant! :heehee:

Made some cushions for two folding chairs and matching backrest covers so that when in use they will provide padding for people who don't have their own.

And sprayed a peony to erase the mildew that has shown up.

Pruning, dead heading, picking raspberries, feed greenhouse plants, weeding and other jobs I bump into while out in the garden.

Planting succulents in the gaps of a stepping stone path, more weeding, deadheading and shoehorning plants into gaps

A bit of deadheading and topping up the water that surrounds the pots of Hostas. I will water all the other pots this evening.
I know that I wanted to cut the workload but...hmmm maybe too much so!!:heehee:

I planted out a couple of Geraniums and three Coreopsis. I also potted up a couple of Nigella in the pots the geraniums had outgrown.
We then put up more mesh for my non-flowering Clematis to continue its ramble.

Picked more blackcurrants, redcurrants, pink currants and gooseberries and deadheaded the roses, cosmos and knautia. A neighbour asked if she could have some of my rose petals to dry and use as convetti for a wedding,so i collected some.

Loads and loads of watering! Also managed to get some small logs and used them as edging in the jungle area, just need the plants to grow in now...

On today's list is watering all the pots that I didn't get to do last night.
Feeding the Grapevine, Blueberries, Blackberries, Strawberries, Lemon Tree and Tomatoes and checking out the Giant Lillies for the cursed Lilly Beetles...so far so good:fingers crossed: their buds should soon be opening.:hapydancsmil:

Maybe a bit of weeding here and there .... have to look willing!!

Weeded fruit cage, cut off broken branches and generally tidied up in there.
