All my courgette plants are now on the compost heap. We got 3 huge courgettes as they went, I guess I'd missed them on my regular courgette patrol.

I also got about a kilo or so of runner beans off the one bean plant that survived.

And I've had yet another go at getting Far End under control. Far End is a challenge because brambles and bindweed get in there across the boundary, but I'm determined this time because I have a poly tunnel that someone gave me that I went to install down there in time for spring.

Nothing this weekend really a part from planting some Daffs I bought Saturday morning. I've also had to do a little spot of watering but that about as much as I've done this weekend!

The main adjustments to the framework for the greenhouse insulation is done now , which is a huge relief as frosts can creep up on you suddenly at this time of year. New bubble wrap has been fitted and the fleece rolls and polystyrene sheets are on stand by.

I've dug up 37 Pelargoniums today, trimmed ,divided and potted them up and placed in the big coldframe, still loads more to go.

Nothing more than water the majority of the pots & hanging baskets on the balcony.

Busy collecting leaves with the mower @shiney ?

Not a lot in the garden to be honest , I pulled out the cleome yesterday they've been fantastic this year but the winds over the past few week and pushed them over flatting others . I bought a Euphoriba Black pearl to replace them , a Euphorbia BP was there originally but didn't come through the winter .

Also been eying some plants / bulbs , make a list then don't buy cause I am being tight , look again another day see something else I like list grows don't buy cause its getting dear / got to hold on to that money . This has been going on for 2 week now and the list grows longer :thud: hopefully I can hold out till next week and not add to the list

No, cleared all those with the blower. If I tried to mow them I would be emptying the box every half run and my back would have given out. :noidea: The grass in the area that I mowed was about 4" high. Hopefully the last cut in that area for the winter.

The main lawns are still to go. :phew:

Monday and yesterday weeded a border and planted some hellebores and polyanthus in there.
The hellebores won't flower yet, too small but was in pots and a thought that they would be better in the ground. Ache too much to do anything today.

Yesterday morning moved a lot of stuff likely to get blown to bits into the greenhouse, smaller dahlias need to dry out so I can store the tubers.

Took a walk out into the garden today and it is a mess. Soaking wet and infested by weeds. Just have no incentive to do anything.
