Fortunately hubs built me a large lean- to construction ( I call it my big cold frame) that runs along the house wall and is tucked round the back of our house . It's in the area that's dedicated to my other cold frame ,greenhouse and a potting bench ( made from bricks and slabs). Space wise there is more plant storage in there that on the greenhouse staging.
I have absolutely no problem filling space as it becomes vacant, it's already almost refilled!! :roflol:

Sorry, Tinkerbelle. Was saving on the typing effort there!!
Dead, diseased and damaged. My ones need a good trim every year. They respond well though.

The thing with growing from seeds is, that you’re never really sure how much plants you’ll eventually get to plant out. I’ve never tried the Sea Lavender before, and the normal lavender never seems to have much longevity up here, so worth trying it. I’ve got about 20 to plant out, 5 gone in the front garden, and with so much of the back garden already earmarked for other stuff, it looks like another bit of the lawn has to be sacrificed. There’s a coffin corner where the moss rules supreme. That’ll see to some, leave the rest to another day, or week, or month…

Seeing that it's still dry and very mild decided to have a morning garden session,

Tidying up the Mole invested border as much as I can without digging through the 'runs' and having it collapse in me!!

We have a Bee still blocking one of our security cameras, it's been there since yesterday afternoon!! :heehee: Screenshot_20220316-102441.png

Preview of this years annual display -.

These are the plugs I'm growing from seeds that are supposed to be scattered direct into the soil. Never works for me as I can't tell the difference between weed and plant seedlings...

I took delivery of ten Osteospermum "Falling Stars" plugs today so I planted three in a hanging basket (first attempt with baskets) and the other seven I put in a tub and stuck them in the cold frame. I'm not sure where to put them plus it was raining.

I spent a an hour or two this morning repotting my Dragon Tree plants in the kitchen! They were grown from cuttings I took 3 & 2 years ago respectively. I had 4 plants from 3 years ago that I've moved up to 7" pots & another 4 pots (7 cuttings) from 2 years ago.

While I was at it I also repotted some small Geranium cutting that had been in the kitchen window all winter.

Finished cutting the old stems of the lavender and pulled up the dead cosmos from last year that I didn't get around to doing. Pricked out some more calendula and cosmos seedlings.

Sadly probably a has been by now.
Check greenhouse plants: water, tidy as necessary. Then weeding and cutting back, remove excessive Arum italicum and A maculum. Decide where the sweet peas are going then plant them out. Maybe tackle the Phyllostachys nigra which needs thinning out. Probably prune back a buddleja or two.
