Potted on some more cosmos got 50, that should be enough. Got a few small ones left so going to grow them on and give them to my friend.
Also did a bit of weeding and hubby cut down some of the plum tree but it's slowly dying.

Planted out some more broad beans.
Lifted and divided some yellow primulas.
Mowed the lawn for the first time this year and spread the clippings on the beds as a mulch.

This morning my wife and I took a drive north over the Queensferry Crossing into God's own country and visited hailbopp's Charity Plant Sale. An hour or so later and with a boot full of wonderful plants we set off home and after a quick lunch, it was out into the garden and busy planting. I also planted out three Red Hot Pokers I was bringing on in pots.

I watered things today, filled in a few small holes dug by a squirrel and swore when I fell in a large hole dug by the dog (at least I hope that one was the dog). Did a bit of weeding and got bitten by a clematis with no previous history of violence.

Cheers - 'thinking' might be overestimating my abilities but I'll take it

Lol I hadn't noticed it was my anniversary - I haven't posted here for a while, so thank you for the welcome back

Repotted some more Strawberry plants and watered everything in the greenhouse and coldframes.

Moved a tray of Wallflower seedlings out into my cold frame. Watered a couple of planter trays in the drive.
I see all my Tree Lilies are through. Thought I had lost one as the first to poke its head through disappeared after my better half did a bit of hoeing!

Belatedly tidied up all the Hydrangeas, hung out the hanging baskets of repotted Strawberry plants and ditched some of the Peas that were definitely not thriving. I was given a handful of Early Peas last Autumn but to be honest I won't bother with them again.

Re-potted the Salvia coccinea (Texas Sage) into a bigger pot. Potted up all the new plants received yesterday and hope for the best. Did this in The Courtyard as it is shielded with three walls, kitchen, bedroom and outdoor living room leaving only the orchard side open ... it is a sun trap as it is South facing but that wind was nasty!
