Slightly off topic, but it will be in the garden this evening.
Exciting stuff, I bought some wormer for the foxes, so will be laying on medicated jam sandwiches all round.
I'll put some in the post Lolli.

How do you know the right dosage for each fox? Let us know how they get on.
I have trouble trying to worm our dogs, they'll eat any tablets except those, even though they're flavoured.

Good question, and one I asked the "fox project", and the lady at Pets at Home.

Seems as there are two, its only safe to apply the correct dosage for one and hope both get some of it, its a bit of a gamble, but I wont overdose.

The stuff I'm using is Panacur, it comes in a syringe and I've made two jam sandwiches and put half a dose on each, just incase one gets both sandwiches.
Apparently half a dose will still have some effect.

Obviously I'm only using a dosage for 5kg so I'm not sure if you can get the paste for larger dogs and maybe its only available in tablet form.

@Logan, a trick my mum used to use many years ago. Have you tried encasing the tablets in a small ball of cheese? They can't smell them or see them.

I used to hollow out the centre of 2 chocolate drops and stick them together with the tablet inside.

Chocolate is supposed to be taboo for dogs Pete. However, one of my late mum's Jack Russell's had a passion for Dime bars.

\Milk is supposedly taboo for cats. Cats have pwned me for 55 years and none have died from milk ingestion. Not to say they have it all the time, but Boo loved warmed milk first thing in the morning (even here in Portugal) and he died of various problems aged 20. :cat-kittyandsmiley: They also like a bit of chocolate, especially chocolate raisins!

Grapes is another thing that dogs are not supposed to eat, but again I think its about how many they eat.

Thanks Pete, I've tried a lot of things like putting them in a bit of cheese, bits of meat, stick it in some potato, tried mashed potato, they find that difficult to eat from bowl. If i hand feed them they think that something is up and refuses to eat it. The best one is scrambled eggs but that's difficult to eat.
                              Sorry to be off topic.
