Maybe, but it is a penetrating breeze today. As I guess I am slightly to the east of you, please close the door!

Perishin' cold here but planted out a small clumping bamboo in the jungle area (fingers crossed I don't regret that), and plotted out next glazing step for the greenhouse. Then I dug out my glass cutter and had a practice; after a bad start I've improved enough for what I need. Hopefully.

It got above freezing and I decided to get the one greenhouse prepared for plants to ho in near the end of April. Early I know but I wanted to start some coloring up out there until I can have the real thing!

@Victoria it is plastic. Made from recycled plastic. I have another one that gets stomped on more frequently and I just pin it to the fence and hose it down once in awhile.

The "shelves" at the rear and rear sides is an adaptation of an idea I got from here. The legs just sit under those wire grids and as soon as the plants that will be sitting on those move out, I'll just lift slightly take away the legs and drop them to hang down and out of the way. Those "pots" are really kids beach buckets that I used a soldering iron to melt a hole in the bottom to put a felt wick. The felt under the pots will be fed by water reservoirs under them and which in turn will have been filled by a low flow irrigation set up. Or from a solar powered pump from the rain barrel.

No sun, no heat on yet and it being chilly and damp out, it is probably no cozier than yours @Upsydaisy ;) Doesn't matter. I've got colour now!

The top part is sorted out, the slightly ripped cover on, so far so good. I still seem to have too long uprights somewhere as the cover stops 40cm above the ground but at least it's nearly ok- ish to house hardening seedlings after this cold blast goes away. :)

Had a good chat with a gentleman at Lidl's about their Camellias (very good plants with a good price tag but unfortunately not dark red I (or rather, The Baby) was after so saved a £10.99 ), all of his Geraniums are dead after the winter and we agreed that Morrison's look after their plants better than Lidl.

Gardening really starts conversations in surprising places. :)

I thought plastic, love the pattern, almost Navajo and your red chair will match your "stool / jardinaire stands". I thought the mini "trugs" were great fun. A few years ago I used a big green one planted with sweet corn ... but I failed with it. You have a super space there.

Sowed some more seeds today mainly perennials that I don't need and some annuals. I took quite a lot of pelargoniums cutting last night. I an hoping to get out into the garden and move some plants around but the weather again has put a stop to everything .
Going garden centre tomorrow having a nosey :)

Do you have some genuine turpentine (art shop) to use as a lubricant ? Especally useful on re-purposed glass.
