      Merle , I liked
Linum Charmer - new to me ,Suttons do a mix of these and one called blue dress.
And the Linaria also known as Toadflax - Now if you want to put people off growing something call it Toadflax !
I have put them both on my 2015 wish list . I am not ,repeat not ,buying any more seeds this year:whistle:

        Watercress
        Rice
        Seaweed
        Trout

I've planted all the Linaria, but you are welcome to a few Linum Charmer seeds to get you started :) Got a packet of 140 so unlikely I'll use them all.

Thasnk merle but I cannot commit to planting any more seeds this year ! I am running out of space a little now . But both the above are on the list for next year. yesterday I got a flyer brochure from a local GC and the picture on the front was mixed Linum in a small container ! They looked very nice :dbgrtmb: Would be good to know how long they really flower for.

Yes that one and a green one. Anglia bulbs web site is down at the moment so can't get the name. Also gonna try Sandersonia and Calanthe. :)

Be very careful not to overwater them before they come into growth. Same applies to the Arisaema as well.

I'm trying all of them, from seed. Not having much luck, so far.

                    Started with this pack:

                    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/251272101569

                    Arisaema Ciliatum
                    Arisaema Consanguineum
                    Arisaema Costatum
                    Arisaema Flavum
                    Arisaema Nepenthiodes
                    Arisaema Speciosum
                    Arisaema Triphyllum

and then bought all the others I could find - that weren't in that pack :)

                    Arisaema concinnum
                    Arisaema intermedium
                    Arisaema tortuosum
                    ARISAEMA AMURENSE
                    ARISAEMA GRIFFITHII
                    ARISAEMA JACQUEMONTII

last year I tried a few, germinated well, but I didn't give them enough TLC. Critical that the seedlings don't dry out, and that you keep them going as long as possible before they go into first dormancy. Might then be worth doing artificial-Winter, using the fridge, to get them back out of dormancy and through as "second season" (all in the first year) by which time they will be a lot more robust.

Buying a bulb from Anglia Bulbs is cheating :) but their quality is great, so will be a good solution.

I am trying blue lobelia as a ground cover, with dwarf dahlias (seeds arrived today). Plus Goliath lily's (still in post).
mixed in with all my usual plants. . Plus of course my coconut (if it takes) and the lemons, and pineapple if they take....

with lobelia do a staggering of planting the seeds 4 weeks as your display will last longer then when it comes to planting out do one of each next to each other
