Yes, but not much flower. Probably because we didn't know much about it then and didn't have it in the right conditions. Just stuck it in a flower bed with a couple of canes.

If we were to grow it now (don't really want to) we would grow it in a very large pot under our pergola (20ft x 10ft) which has a clear Perspex roof.

We have a passion flower that grows in the bed near the pergola and it has realised that the pergola has the ideal conditions for it, so it has invaded it. As it's protected under there we get flowers much earlier (and later) and loads of fruits.

I am encouraged that it flowered outside at all. I plan to keep mine inside my conservatory.

I think it was back in 1976 when we had the heatwave.

Heuchera's.......I'd fought against this idea for some while as an ex-member was obsessed with them and mentioned them whenever he could which put me off, but now I've succumbed and seeds are on order. :)

Strongylodon siderospermum - wow - just had a look at internet images. Do keep us updated on this.

I get a bit confused with the Jade Vines. I think there is another Red Jade Vine - Mucuna bennettii, which is difficult to find. Then there is Camptosema grandiflora, the Dwarf Red Jade Vine. The last one is also sold by Sunshine Seeds; I would have ordered it a week ago but they are out of stock. A few Pics from the internet :-

Muncuna bennetti - I don't think this is another name for the Strongylodon.

At the moment I am unsure as to whether this is Syrongylodon or Mucuna as well.

Nice. Winter flowering in the souther US though. Should be fine for you but no good for me. Fairly hardy for short periods though from what I've just read.

I was wondering if it was a certain ex-member :)

I'm in planning mode too Nigelj! So far I've planted 40 tulip bulbs, I still have a few packets left to plant! ( I brought them in the sale at a farm shop £1 for 10 bulbs!) I also have more foxgloves for the back of one of my flowerbeds. I'm also going to grow some wallflowers & sweet Williams, thought i might try some Daliahs this year too, I've not grown them for a while.
As for my veg, I have no plans for anything new at the moment.
Roll on the spring I want to get planting!
