    I can recommend "The Shadow of the Wind" by Carlos Zafon is set in Barcelona and involves books, booksellers and "The Cemetery of Forgotten Books"

      @Sheal I've remembered to look up my photos of the outside of the libraries

      This was the bookshop (I wrote it was in Lisbon but is in Porto :doh:)

      The University library at Coimbra is a small building as part of the Uni.

        I've almost finished reading this and not impressed. The story is bland and predictable.

          I am currently reading "Okinawa: The Last Battle" by Roy Appleman, after watching the movie "Hacksaw Ridge". If you haven't seen it I strongly recommend it.
