That's it Dee, I will photo my babies later. Becasue they are fresh, rather than dried like some pods, they sprout up really quickly. My taro roots produced smooth edged plants, but grab what you can and have a variety IMHO:thumb:

Little Miss, if you`re like me, it doesn`t grow on trees-(groan), but you find it for the things you really want.

    So.....................nearly.......................got.........it:dh:

I have an azalea firebird-or glow-or flame or red or something-anyway it will flower bright orange. Looked like it a bit-way off with the "succulent" bit though.

It was a good guess Lolli very similar and they both like acidic soil. This one was classed as a small shrub also, only grows to 3m x 1.5m, so I am told.s00k:rotfl: 02

You are soon going to get loads of hydrangeas sweetie! :D:D:D

As many of you know I am moving out of the house and garden next year between april and june, so not many plans. But I am making an experiment of ground improving in a part of the back garden where the soil is extremely poor. All the top soil was removed time ago to lower the level and the subsoil is horrid yellow clay, hard as concrete in summer and sticky as peanuts butter in winter. I am now carting all the fallen leaves to the place, creating a very thick carpet, and the horses will have access to this place throught winter, walking and treading on the leaves all the time. I think by spring I should have a nice layer of organic mush there, without any need for work on my side, ready for sowing new grass before moving out.

Ivory, what a really decent person you must be, to sort out the land of someone who has behaved so abysmally toward you.

    Hydrangeas it is then sweetheart
