Mine is just a Panasonic fz150 bridge camera superseded by newer models but it is still a reasonably good camera.

          Canon 5d mk3.

It's not bad, but not worth the money. Wish I had got the Mk 2 and saved a load of cash.

I have a Canon SX 700 HS which is a decent quality compact. I wish I had the patience and ability to use a really decent camera but sadly I dont .

I have a Canon 1100D DSLR and Canon Sx50 known here in Britain as a bridge camera. The SX50 bridges the gap between a DSLR and a compact camera and can be set to auto to cover all your needs Redstar. It has a built in flash, screen and viewfinder. I have an issue with the electronic viewfinder, having to wait for it to set itself up and focus so it's no good for anything moving rapidly. On the other hand it's great for close up shots taken at a distance. :)

I have a Panasonic Lumix FZ 200, an outstanding bridge camera, it offers burst shooting at 12fps at full resolution so is ideal for wildlife :)

thanks again, I made my list. checking. like the one with the burst shooting. My husband has one that you have to wait (gets on my nerves) my little old one, you just aim and shoot also.

I am narrowing it down to a Sony Cybar shot HX 50V or a RX100 Maybe. giving myself till mid July to be certain.

I've just had a read about both camera's redstar and without going into detail I think the Sony RX100 is the far better camera of the two. Please let me know if you'd like me to post the links to the information.

I'd like to see what other members have to say. :)

Good morning I personally would respectfully suggest that reviews of Cameras are all so different, take the Sony Cybar shot HX 50V it has 3 stars on some on some reviews and 5 stars on others yes they do give you the camera details but that is all, best thing to do is go to your camera shop and handle the camera in person;)

As our friend @Sheal says the RX100 is by far the best choice,on paper, only my opinion of course:smile:

The Sony Cybershot HX 50V has a 30x zoom with a 35mm equivalent of 24 - 720mm and the Sony RX100 only has a 3.6x zoom with a 28 - 100mm 35mm equivalent, which is a lot of difference at maximum zoom, so I cannot fathom why Amazon have suggested they're similar cameras.
