What can i do to make this dead lawn nice again :(

    Scrape over the bare areas with a fork to loosen the surface and then put loads of grass seed mixed with compost on it, it will cover eventually.

    i keep doing that alot, and it is starting to grow, just alot slower than the rest, cant wait for a full green lawn :)

    If its started to grow then leave it alone. This rain will help.

    If you haven't loosened the soil in the bare patches sufficently, the seed will not be able to root and the roots of the existing grass will find it hard to move into.

    But it is looking better.

    But I understand that the rain is a mixd blessing - hope you sort out the shed roof soon - its not difficult

    will sort shed roof out, i hope lol :)

    grass definately much better :) rain is definately doing the grass wonders

    Looking much better already Dawn - a bit of time and effort always shows such good results :)

    Keep going and im sure you will have a wonderful lawn soon enough

    i spoke to soon, noticed this morning there are loads of yellow colour blades in the lawn, how can i solve this, want it to stop lovely and green

    Got any picks of yellowing. Don't cut too short and feed with some liquid iron.
