Can only just roll the walls using a super long pile roller, muscle building stuff as it needs a lot of pressure.

I thought I'd do Post Office run (6kms away) and go to a few places .... stupid me ... forgot it is a public holiday (Portugal Day) so most things closed. Enjoyed the drive out with the top down (33 degrees) and did stop at a ..... sssshhhhh .... garden center and bought some things ......

Onlly 27 now so cooling down ......

I've been busy trying to do something with my inlaws front garden, there's not much there really but it's gotten into a bit of a state, they haven't been able to manage the garden for the last year or so, i have lots ideas i'd like to do,new fencing, improve the lawns, move things around, add things ect.... but it's not my garden and they're a bit stuck in their ways :(
So as i'm off work for 3 days i decided to go and do some tidying up today, it was back breaking work and i'm nowhere near finished but this is what i did today, i'm aching but i feel invigorated!!! :)

Went to work as usual - not fair as I'd rather be in my garden sorting it out :p
And also as usual shifting plants around - I know it's a bit late but ... I like to fiddle and there's still lots of stuff to sort out as everything is fairly newly planted.
Next thing is trying to get the lawn a bit nicer as it's been trampled and ruined and it's basically good old London clay

Well, we went to Peter Barratts. Left the dog at home cos it was warm & sunny and we expected to be there for a while. what a disappointment! Usually want to come away with something even if I can't afford it but didn't even want anything. Well, there was a rather nice hot tub summerhouse thing but at around £30k ........
Told they don't do solar water features anymore.

Went Asda's, no bargains there. Went next to NoFrills, got some grow bags. Last stop B & Q, got some nice stones for the corner bit of the garden.

that's it. Can't believe it. Expected hubby to come back crying:) instead it was nearly me, lol.

As we got indoors it started raining so couldn't get in the garden. Sun & showers at the moment.

    cheers

Mutch faster with a blade even if your using a big machine.

I always used to use a blade when I was cutting Xmas tree plantions still do now for wild flower meadows. anything were the grass is real long a blade is easier as it doesnt chew the grass like cord.
