I've done my exercises (pilates) mown the front lawn, trimmed the edges (that takes longer than the mowing!) forked over the borders and tidied as I've gone along and planted a plant in the back garden, can't remember the name of it right now but it's a smaller version of the red hot poker and a lemon colour. Having a break now!

Hedge cutting today, I get a fantastic home cooked lunch when I do this particular hedge:

As per my usual, straight enough to put a spirit level, I once won a bet that I could cut a 20' section of hedge to within a height discrepency tolerance of 10mm!!!!

    In places its 10' wide.

Looks great that:thumb: went to one of my least favorite customers today [IMG] and around that unbelevably tight corner is a flight of stairs  then a nice bit of mowing and hedgecutting with no stairs all afternoon lol

Its a massport http://www.mowwithus.com/masport_chipper.html I went for it mainly due to its compact size and weight (about 50kg so u can lift it fairly easy) its very quick chipping straight long branches and anything else woody it takes a little longer to shread more leafy stuff as u have to feed it in a little slower :)

thanks, will have a look. A shade cheper than the elliet major aswell, although the major looks more suited to clippings having a larger feed shoot.

Ive just had a look at the major and i think your probably right however as u know theres alot of steps around here so i needed someting a little smaller ! another good thing about it is its only 2 bolts to remove and 2 nuts to losen and the top comes off meaning if you really needed to it would fit in to a car

Apart from trying to shift thousands of bedding plants out to the Parks and seafront I have to make up these hanging baskets in between.

Apart from that just a quiet day.:D

They look good strongy, I imagine it must be a satisfiying job, must get a bit hot in there though.

I was working in the comunal gardens Ive pictured previously, loads of spraying and grass cutting.
