Chicken casserole last night. Chicken thighs, onions, garlic, celery, carrots, courgettes, French beans, mangetout, herbs, chilli (almost all from the garden), glug of wine (not from the garden) accompanied by new pots and freshly picked runner beans. Followed by rhubarb and blackberry crumble. All put together by my dainty hands :snorky:

today will be a starter of corn on the cob, followed by grilled trout fillets topped with butter, fanned spring onions and very fine fresh ginger slices. accompanied by rice pillaf and runner beans and Bridgwater beans (need to go out and pick the beans this morning).

The turkey breast and most of the other stuff was shop bought apart from the peas, carrots and roast spuds which were our own home grown produce plus I made the Yorkshire pudding with my own fair hands:snorky:

The Yorkshire pud looks a heart shape to me:biggrin:

@Gail_68 Sometimes we have more veggies than that on our plates because Mr Kandy often wants cabbage as well as runner/Broad Beans which we have in the freezer.I cooked on Sunday,Carrots,Peas,Parsnip,Cauliflower and Brussel Sprouts, still not as good though as the eight or is it ten portions of veg that they now recommend :snorky:

Hope your hubby enjoyed my dinner photos:biggrin:
