I had Angolan black beans in a wrap and t'other half and 'surrogate son' aged 24 visiting from Uni in Anglesey (studying marine biology) had piri-piri chicken, rice, chips and black beans ... so no dinner tonight here. :love30:

We had a KFC this lunch time as we were over at the Lottie from 9amish and never got home until well after 3pm.Our excuse for the takeaway was because Mr Kandy was up the fruit trees scrumping,I mean picking our apples and pears and it took a lot longer than we thought (over six hours which included lunch). As I don't have a head for heights I let him tackle the easy job:whistle: while I spread lots of compost from out of my ton bags (emptied two full ones) onto spare ground ready for digging/rotavating in.

All in all we enjoyed our quick meal plus have 32 carrier bags full of apples to sort through and put in storage so we know what our diet will consist of for the next six months:snork:

Pasta with olive oil and linquiça for t'other half, just a lovely corn on the cob smothered in butter and black pepper for me. Last of my root canal (3 canals) tomorrow so it will probably be mash for me tomorrow ...

Also tomorrow our Hoover van Dyson goes in for his 'chip and chop' so no food for him after midnight (other two will have to suffer) and no brekkies for him for sure ...
                          :yikes:

Yesterday, our version of the Italian classic, Vitello Tonnato, some home grown new potatoes and a green salad mostly from the garden. And of course, a glass of light Italian red wine. !!
