      Very extravagant last evening, took out a small mortgage and dined on: Grilled Dover sole with samphire, green beans and courgette, new potatoes. Followed by a rather fine vintage cheddar, some crackers, fresh figs and walnuts.

          Well, for el-cheapo minted lamb steaks and quick goose fat rosaries, they were absolutely gorgeous. Beginning to wonder how we coped without the Actifry now - fantastic product, and so much more than a fryer

                This evening, broad bean and goat cheese risotto with a tomato and shallot salad. Glass of white wine followed by a piece of apple sponge cake, made by one of my work colleges with some apples I gave her from our tree.

                  we're having take away
                  Meat Platter for 2 (Chicken Tikka, Lamb Tikka, Sheek Kebab, Lamb Chops).
                  I'm having, Monsoor Special, ( Chicken Tikka, Keema and Tandoori Chicken (off the bone) marinated together with Saag cooked with chef's special blend of herbs and medium spices.
                  Mrs T's having, Balti silsila, (Marinated chicken finely sliced and prepared together with Balti sauce and chef's special blend of herbs and medium spices.
                  Onion fried rice and Peshwari Naan.
