Have my b-in-l visiting for 3 weeks from Germany so today we went to The English Kitchen in Albufeira for lunch ... I had liver and onions with mash and cabbage, t'other half had a double full English breakfast and b-in-l had fish and chips. All enjoyed. Tonight I did scrambled egg with spring onions and red peppers in wraps with mini Italian tomatoes ... followed by cookie dough ice cream as a treat!

A group of friends round so I had pre-cooked the dinner of courgette, spinach and potato soup, chilli, aubergine and chick pea curry for the veggies with home made lemon pickle, rice, garlic ciabatta, followed by apple, plum, pear and date compote with thick coconut milk.

As usual, there was an assortment of hot, hotter, very hot and mouth busting (Naga) fresh chillies available on the table. :blue thumb:

Today we have Topside of beef with Peas,Parsnip,Runner beans, carrots and one of the roman cauliflower type thingies that we have bought to try. Also roast tatties and Yorkshire pud.For after we will probably have fruit:biggrin:

The parsnip is one that Mr Kandy dug up on Friday from the Lottie and despite the tail end snapping off it weighed in at 3lb:yes:

scallops alfredo, over pasta, asparagus. white wine, that was Saturday. For Sunday, I am marinating some pork in buttermilk (overnight). later will roast in some spices, saute cabbage on the side and not sure the other item yet. Made homemade chicken soup Saturday also.

I had a friend over last night, and we did homemade Singapore noodles :)
They tasted like they were from a restaurant, so I was over the moon :hapfeet:
Bloomin lovely :blue thumb: (took a while to prepare all the ingredients, but worth the effort) :)

Humble roast chicken with stuffing, roast potatoes, garden peas, carrots, roasted mixed veg, Yorkshire puddings and gravy. Maybe rhubarb and custard for dessert (if I can squeeze it in)
