tonite we had homemade shepherds pie

 

Slow cooked pork spare rib, spring greens and mashed potatoes!!

 

I had left over veg from yesterday reheated with the left over gravy
Hardly, Cor! Done blur!! but did the job

 

Waste not; want not
I suppose I could have been a little bit more "imaginative" and created a vegetable "shepherds pie" or somesuch ... I was just too, too lazy to bother

 

R.E.S.P.E.C.T @alex-adam I thought I enjoyed my grub but that is impressive

Happy Thanksgiving @redstar for 27th (?) I've not been a member long, hadn't spotted how far afield some members are!

Yum @"M" some of my fave meals are from leftovers, I hate waste

 

Monday we had lobster gnocchi with salad. Today tuna salad sandwich and soup. Tomorrow out with the girls, husband on his own.

 

Tonite we had Bangers and mash..Well it is bonfire night afterall

 

Curry goat, rice and peas, plantain, jerk chicken, festival and salad

 

This evening, "Raya a la Malaguena" - A Spanish dish from the great piscatoriaphile Alan Davidson. - Wings of skaite baked in a sauce of onion, garlic, tomato, saffron, almonds and fried crumbs served with some potatoes a green salad and a glass of white wine.

Well thank you SharonL. yes it is on the 27th of November. We will be heading down to Fredricksburg, Virginia for the holidays and stay a few days after. Staying at the house of a good friend, Sylvia. She will have others there, about 10 in total, some her family, and some her friends. Has a huge house to stay in, 6 bedrooms. Sits on 5 beautiful acres. Her kitchen is unbelievable. So far, just bringing a crab meat dip. But pondering other things. Of course several bottles of wine.
