      Hmm, depends on your point of view really ... :scratch:

      Could be described as a "miniature buffet" (if you wanted to sound a little upmarket)
      Or, could be described as "mix and match selection" (if you wanted to sound a bit arty)
      Or, could be described as "use it up before it gets thrown out" (if you're being honest :heehee: )

        Tonite we are having a wee buffet..Mini pizzas,sausage rolls,Filo prawns,sandwiches..

        Last night was more of the veggie soup followed by one of the tastiest pieces of rib of beef on the bone I've had for a long time. That was accompanied by lovely crispy roasties and Brussels.

        Tonight will be home made chicken soup followed by chicken and multi-veg stir fry.

          Mixed cheeses and crackers, good wine. Salmon with ricotta (mushroom) and asparagus . Butternut squash pie with whip cream. Then off to Christmas Eve Service.

            Fried Sirloin Steak with Roast Potatoes, Broccoli and Peppercorn Sauce.
            Creme Brulee.
            Finished with A Few Brandy's .
