Making Turkey chili for dinner today, my own, with Anasazi beans simmered first in turkey broth for almost and hour, then throw in diced green peppers, onions, celery, garlic, ground turkey, cashews, tomato sauce, cumin, chili powder, pepper, salt. thyme. Serve with cheese scones. Have scallions and sour cream to top off the chili in the bowl.

We invited the mothers around yesterday and had a christmas dinner. When peeling the spuds I kept all the peelings and fried them with some turmeric, then cooled them off and put them in the fridge.

For lunch today it was fryup of leftover mash, sprouts, carrots, parsnips and stuffing, with a few of the fried tatie skins that I'd baked in the oven.
