Kortopolus Georgeus - ?? (Chicken George) - Some yeas ago whilst walking in the Greek countryside we stopped to admire a small garden filled with flowers, vegetables & fruit trees. - the owner (Georgeus) came out for a chat and as we left presented us with half a small chicken, some lemons and a bunch of fresh herbs - on returning to our little cottage we made up the dish of pan fried chicken, sliced lemons and herbs with a dash of the local wine. This dish always brings back happy memories.

Tonight was the first time for weeks I only had to cater for myself so I just had a baked spud with cheese (last of the Tintern cheddar with onion & chives), coleslaw and tomato. Bliss :)
