    We have those in Scouseland too but here they're called savouries. Usually there's herbs added to the potato. From a good chippy, they're really tasty. :blue thumb:

      Diced pork cooked really slow on the wood burner in cider, onion, pearl barley with peas and carrots added (for colour). Served with broccoli and potato mash.

              Not quite meal time yet.

              Yesterday I had something unusual (i.e. don't usually eat it) - crevettes (large prawns) with lemon mayo (on reduced offer), with a tomato roll (warmed through), iceberg lettuce and fennel & tomato salad. (I have saved the shells for stock - bagged in freezer for up to 1 month)
