What did you have for dinner?

Asda pizza (bought way back and defrosted from the freezer): life has been way too busy to cook a full blown meal tonight!

 

Tonite we had a chinese takeaway

 

We have those in Scouseland too but here they're called savouries. Usually there's herbs added to the potato. From a good chippy, they're really tasty.

 

Diced pork cooked really slow on the wood burner in cider, onion, pearl barley with peas and carrots added (for colour). Served with broccoli and potato mash.

 

Yep me too!!! Baked, fried, mashed, new ones in butter, just love 'em!!

 

Roast beef,potatoes,roast potatoes,swede,yorkshire puddings...

 

Tonite its Gammon steak,chips,pineapple rings...

Not quite meal time yet.

Yesterday I had something unusual (i.e. don't usually eat it) - crevettes (large prawns) with lemon mayo (on reduced offer), with a tomato roll (warmed through), iceberg lettuce and fennel & tomato salad. (I have saved the shells for stock - bagged in freezer for up to 1 month)
