I did my version of spaghetti vongole (with fresh clams). Traditionally made with chillies but I didn't have any.

Waitrose had some new zealand fresh clams (never tried - quite large) so I lightly steamed them in a little salted water and combined into good quality cooked pasta that had sun dried tomato slices, sliced garlic and chopped flat leaf parsley in it. Very nice - the broth was almost better than the clams themselves!

On reflection, although clams are supposed to go with spaghetti in this dish...I think farfalle would be a better choice (bows).

We are having some more pork fillet in a masala curry, Duchesse potatoes and
a medley of greens, probably chard and courgette from the garden.

We are having a raspberry terrine jelly with greek yoghurt and a mixed red fruit
      couli. :stirpot:

Today I have sliced homegrown courgettes, flour, egg and breaded, fried
in olive oil until crisp, will bake in the oven to cook through.

In another pan, chopped onions, courgettes, red peppers, mushrooms, cooked
in a coconut Thai curry sauce, with Carneroli rice, it's just simmering slowly :stirpot:

I have'nt decided what protein to have with it, any ideas

Pudding is a homemade orange jelly and blueberry trifle:love30:
