Not a lot escapes my eagle eye, imp. [IMG]

Kandy, I had lamb today ... difficult to describe how it is here but a casserole dish with onions and carrots on top of crusty bread! The lamb fell off the bone and the flavour was to die for, but I did avoid the bread and did not eat my chips. I could manage about 1/3 - 1/2 of what is on your plate. [IMG]

Pal, are you being punished for some reason ??????

Kathy, I rarely cook on a Sunday now because it's cheaper to eat a good meal out and the atmosphere at restaurants is incredible. Most Portuguese eat out on Sundays so it's full of families (children always permitted in drinking establishments) and lots of chat and laughter ... a real pleasure. [IMG]

Like you, Pal, I've got baked spuds (plural because they are the tiny ones) with Edam type (but Portuguese) cheese and onions ... but I have to say with pure Azorean butter (a bit like Cornish or Welsh). T'other half is having pasta.

Not sure we really want to discuss your lunch box over dinner.

Kathy. If you enjoy it, it is TOTALLY healthy. The establishment hate me because I believe that the stress of eating food you do not enjoy is more unhealthy than eating a little bit of what you fancy. A few chips (pref oven).... Some French bread...... A bit of real butter....... A large rare steak........

Unless you actually have high cholestrol or a heart flutter or high blood pressure then, in moderation, enjoy. The stress is on MODERATION. Martini by the glass not the litre. Sorry if you believed me....that's a joke (oh you didn't realise :D )
