We bought a basic Bosch earlier this year from Appliances Online. It's easy to use and does a good job.

We have an integrated one, is that what you need or a free standing one? Can't remember what make ours is, will have a look when I get home.

An integrated one is where it sits and looks like the rest of your cupbroads, you would have to take the front panel off your old one and then put the panel onto the new one, then it will look like the same as your old one, ie built into your kitchen

Bosch, Siemens, Neff or Miele. We have a Bosch, and it has been faultless. AO are a good place to buy from too.

I've not had any problems with Zanussi in the past. I also like the layout inside, the racks at the bottom/back of the machine collapse to make room for pans and bigger objects.

Ours is a Hotpoint, 10 years old and still going strong. Only issue is it is a bit noisy so not good if you have open plan kitchen/living area.

                        This was me last year..

Got a Beko fullsize one. It was a no-brainer to get one plumbed in when the kitchen was being done, plus Lori and M persuaded me when they said how much they loved their dishwasher!

Best dishwashing tablets though, no idea? Been using fairy platinum and stocking up in makro, BOGOF on 120 packs usually £15-17 quid.

I use Tesco's All in One lemon tablets @Linz, £7 for 60. I wait for them to be on special offer and they come up cheaper. :)

I'll give those a go, cheers @Sheal ! Heard Aldi own brand are quite good too.

(Thought they were 120 packs.. they're 100 and lemon all in one not platinum. Must have been the offer before.. )

Tesco's sell a 90 pack as well @Linz but I'm not sure if there's a larger one than that.
