Very old joggers usually but shorts if its warm enough and old T shirt worn not tucked in, so the dirt and grit does not drop into my nether regions.
I sometimes wear an old pair of trainers - they have holes in top. Wellingtons if its digging. What i don't like about wellies is that if you are grubbing about weeding, i shuffle along. I always seem to get my wellies full of dirt. My feet then always look disgusting after gardening.
If its sunny then i wear my straw hat. If its raining then my gortex hat with ear muffs, but they are worn up.

In good weather I usually wear white trousers, white shirt, Panama hat and sit with my bare feet up on a cushion, a drink of Champers in hand and direct the gardeners through a megaphone. In bad weather I usually go to the Caribbean [IMG] :D

It seems Geoff you might not be on your own there ,no matter what I wear on my feet they always seem like something like the feet one would expect the Creature from the Black Lagoon to have pretty nasty!

Keving...what colour thong would that be? Shocking pink to clash with those red wellies! [IMG]

NewbieGreen....you sound just like our postie even when it's snowing he is wearing his faithful shorts!

Shiney...You get the servants to do the hard work for you then? :D

Helen. I've told you about this muddy feet problem. Spats are the answer. Or in very wet weather - flippers, frogman style.

How about Drivin' wellies? I wear mine for traipsing round the woods, they have neoprene lining and zip up the sides for a snug fit. A bit pricey at 45.00 but last forever, they reach to just below the knee.

I must say tho that i prefer Kevings idea :D

I wear stretch black jeans and a top with "hidden support" so I don't have those bra straps getting in the way, but don't look like Charlie D! Photo of the get-up is in Gardener's Photos months ago! :D

    It's very fetching!
