Little late on this thread although I thought I had to post and also admit I'm a hoarder.
Most of my collection is still boxed up from our move 2 years ago and it didn't help that Bob smashed my large display unit in the move.

I have a few boxes of Lilliput Lane houses just like you 02 but had to stop myself from buying that wonderful Island one years ago it was huge and cost a bomb Bob had a fit lol and like yourself I loved finding the 'real' ones Bridge House was enchanting up at the Lakes all mine are boxed away as the passion for them has died some what but I just can't part with them.

Cookie another thing we have in common sweetie is our love of masks I have about 30 in the living room although I try to stick to tribal or asian ones myself. Below is just a few of my favourites.

This one below was going to be put in my garden but I think it's too nice for that.

Only problem with masks etc is that you get an awful lot of cobwebs on them as you can see in my pic's. Hel.xxx.

Hel - what a great set of masks! They are much more jolly and colourful than my ugly, grinning, brutes!! :D

I am a complete hoarder too, although since James moved in I have been good and have started getting rid of binbags of stuff from the attic for the first time ever.

I used to collect the carved wooden African animals too, but you can only have so many antelope on your mantlepiece before it starts to look like the great Serengeti migration! They are all boxed somewhere 'up there....' I think

My brother got a mask very similar to your first picture in Thailand.

    Thanks for sharing your collection.

Thanks to everyone else who have contributed too. I never thought of car bits as a collection before, but have had my eyes opened here! ;)

ProGuard - you are like my uncle in Spain - he has every tool in the universe and had to build a massive tool shed just to house them all.

JJ - not a massive Alan Price fan but like a few of his songs. I have a collection of vinyl album covers signed by Chris De Burgh from 1972- 1986 - although most people I have encountered don't seem to rate him AT ALL! :o

I have collected all sorts of things over the years but the only things I have kept are my cobalt blue glass ... some antique, some known ie Liberty, glass from around the world and some just cheap and cheerful .....

It is kept in two overhead cabinets over the counter separating the kitchen from the diner .....

.... and this is the view from the kitchen side (the cabinets open from both sides) ...

I also collect rings and have over 30, mostly diamonds but also emerald, amethyst, ruby, sapphire, opal, gold topaz, blue topaz,, garnet, peridot, citrine and probably a few other I can't remember.

    Thanks Sweet Cookie. x

There are actually three cabinets on the diner facing side (you can just see the glass door in the photo) and it contains glasses .... mostly cobalt blue strangely enough. :) However, it is not lit up like the two ... the two are only seen from the kitchen side ... strange shaped kitchen which I designed ... so thank you for the compliment. There is also another area in the kitchen with blue glass (which was supposed to be for cookbooks) however .... I'll photo that tomorrow.

The blue glass is interspersed with white china items and crystal (t'other half likes crystal).
