One that is good for a hangover, works best on a roll (prefer a Scottish morning roll) - butter the roll, add a nice thick slice (or two if they fit) of cheese (strong-ish cheddar or similar), and then top with a good coating of strawberry jam (preferably not the smooth variety).

If I am feeling decadent then it's going to be Nutella and sliced banana.
I do like a Bovril sandwich with cheese, or a honey sandwich hits the spot. ;)

Cheese & tomato with a dash of black pepper
          Cheese & spring onion
Cheese & chutney (Notice a theme developing here?)

Or egg & mayonnaise if we've run out of cheese.

Don't know about a hang over cure but that is yum FC I also like to mash a couple of fresh strawbs from the garden in the summer instead of the jam.. ;) Sprinkle some sugar if not sweet enough..!

My favourite is Bovril and sliced cucumber - a 'salad sandwich' (lettuce, cu, tomato, beetroot, sliced red onion and salad cream instead of butter) is OK, but comes a poor second. To me, anything else is just ..... boring:)

Can't beat a bacon sandwich, but .... no spread, nothing extra added and the bread has to be toasted on the inside only: perfect!
