How very true! Egg salad sandwiches with Marmite:blue thumb:

On the subject of Marmite here's your chance to mock me! Take a standard tin of baked beans (Branston are my faves) heat and stir in a heaped teaspoon of Marmite. Heat for 3 or 4 minutes more and serve:cool:

    Works for sandflies too!

Never had egg sandwiches with marmite :ThankYou:

I have done the beans and marmite though and then sprinkled some grated cheese over before serving

I'm in the process of trying to give up bread completely, so can I diversify slightly.

I've been hooked on...... cream cheese with chives and salami on ryvita for months.

Sounds great Loli but I don't like rocket and can't do the onions. My stomach is getting delicate in its old age which is why the bread has to go. :)

Salami's good with tomato and mayo too.

For me it's a ploughmans sandwich.. great combination, but cheese and pickle will do!

Sausage sandwich is nice too, in the morning
