What have you recycled for use around the garden

      Tomato support made from an old pallet and water pipe.

      I guess that this is a bit of a silly thread for me really, as most of what I make comes from discarded wood and materials.

      I removed this wood from a bonfire.

        My solution to the problem of marauding pigeons eating my winter brassicas.
        This is made using some redundant football goal nets which would otherwise have been thrown away, obtained from my previous job as a groundsman. It may not be very aesthetically pleasing, but it works!

          I've recycled my old garden wall, knocking it down:

          Then rebuilding it further up my garden to make a couple of terraces:

            I have a large riddle on wheels, and a small basket size riddle with handles to assist the shake

            All available free from your local stream, river, or town park, and by famous makers too :-)

              my brother does similar as a hobby and makes furniture, gates, etc ... and big money ... he is a senior design engineer, but done his trade as a boilermaker

                compost bin is recycled pallets

                raised beds were made from someones decking (no i didnt steal it)

                water butts are old black bins

                runner bean pots used to be the water butt

                had a Fab wendy house from freecycle

                use an old shower screen as cold frame over raised beds

                used old concrete slab cut in half as path down one side of the greenhouse

                used more slabs as a walk way in green house

                most of my Large plastic pots from morrisons

                am sure there is more :scratch:
