Ok here's a couple of things which I'd like Identified as I don't do insects xD

First one is a very pretty moth



and this one I'm assuming is a chrysalis for something?

Thanks:hehe: it appears the chrysalis is also of the same moth and it makes perfect sense for the moth to be in the field as there's more bird's-foot trefoil (apparently the feeding plant of the lavae) then grass:hehe:

 

I feel the same way about fungi and ferns, the mind boggles:roll:

although saying that I used to have a problem with Penstemon's now I just remember one cultivar (P. "Garnet") and when I get asked what a particular Penstemon is no matter what colour It is I'll say it's Penstemon 'Garnet':lollol::lollol::lollol:

UNFORTUNATELY, the only thing we get buzzed of late by the RAF and their ****ing jets using our village as a One-Way Sky route, while VERY low and making the most noise they can 10 miles from their base and MUCH to the annoyance of many residents.
