    Mr K found this Leopard Slug (Limax Maximus) in the garden today, in one of the pumpkin pots!!! It was about 3 inches long before it stretch out and crawled away -

    Limax maximus (literally, "great slug") I have just read they can grow to 8" !!
    I would love to get my usb microscope on that except that the slime could be problem.

    We'd never seen such a slug before either, just hope it was a one-off type one. Gad! 8 inches, I'd have a screaming fit if I found something like that in our garden.

    Sorry, I can't even send you a bit of it now, Robert, as it has turned into a mess with salt. Yuk and shudder!

Oh gosh I think I may have forgotten to say I have been having so much fun with it...!!! :dh::D http://www.cameras.co.uk/reviews/canon-powershot-a590-is.cfm Reconditioned 2yr warranty from Canon.. A superb 2nd camera in my opinion to just stick in your pocket..!!! :wink::D
