    They live just outside the tunnel The adults [​IMG] come in every year to give birth, they will leave about july and return next april.

    My son spotted this nest (perhaps wren?) built on top of last years swallows'! How very resourceful! Waited a wee while, but didn't see the occupant, and didn't want to disturb them anyway.

    Well, I don't have any pictures, but am sat here with the back door open, and the Sparrows are chirping away like mad!!!! What a lovely sound!!!

    Wow Bob and wow roders yous must have incredible zooms on you cameras cos the pics are so close up and not to mention the details is both lots outstanding my hats off to both of you wish i could take pics like that well done [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]

    You done great with the pic.Hyla well done, Hoopoes occasionaly tun up on the south coast of the uk one was reported once in the shetlands, never seen one in person so to speak, beautiful bird

    We had one here two days ago but I didn't know till yesterday :( , second one this year in Weymouth, looks great with the crest up HA.

    Fantastic pictures folks [​IMG] love the moth roders. I pictured this goldspot moth today, supposed to be fairly common but this is the first one I`ve ever seen, according to my book, they should only appear in June.

    Good shots, guys! Were these two on the full zoom on the Panasonic strongy? With a tripod or some sort of support? Impressively sharp! Pip's third shot of the Gold Spot is lovely - could you have got it to pose on a twig, though?!!!!

    To be honest Ha, the Robin was about 8ft away so I hardly needed the zoom and the rabbit about 12ft away(4x). I don't carry a tripod as I used to with my old SLR, all pics are hand held and thanks to the image stabiliser have come out sharp. Thanks for your comment as I am still finding my way around with this camera. [​IMG]
