I'm almost ashamed to show these, but they were flying and buzzing over our garden today, and within a few minutes of each other too!

I've not seen any insects yet, apart from the odd spider or two in the house. I did see one or two of these little pond bugs over the weekend, so guess things will be perking up soon. And you've seen a butterfly already, pip!

Kedi have you not seen any frogs yet several pairs of"double headers" have appeared over the last weekend in my pond, will have to watch the spawn doesn't get caught out with a freeze.

On Saturday I saw a red admiral in the garden, looking slightly moth eaten, and 3 bees. We went for a walk on the cliffs and saw 6 dolphins, one came in close to the beach and surfed inside a wave, what a sight!

No, walnut, no frogs in our pond yet. Better they stay away a while longer as we had a light ice film on it this morning.

We were in the both the Botanical Garden and the Schloss Park this afternoon, and I have some pics of a bee in a crocus to put up this evening.

It has turned colder, at least nights. Had a bit of ice on the pond this morning. The stars and moon are beaming down at us out of an extremely clear sky. Very pretty but cold!
