This one is rather unclear but perhaps someone could ID it. I thought it was a lightening bug at first but now I am wondering if it was one of these wood beetles.

    Cardinal {Pyrochroa coccinea} (ID by Kandyfloss) -

I'd like an ID on this one too, please. It looks very graceful but not what is underneath it!

my rodie is in full flower and it is full of lots of big fluffy bees , they are really big ones this year and they are full of pollen but they will not stop still long enough for me . my hubby had a real job trying to take these pics , those bees were moving over those flowers at a real pace lol

Thanks Kandy, that looks just like the cousin of mine.

Lovely shots, may, both of the bee and the rhododendron.

Thanks for the info Strongy. I didn't know what kind of frog it was and certainly not if it was a he or a she!

Really super shot, Pip! The detail is wonderful. What kind of a ladybird could that be with the mottled head. Don't think I've ever seen one like that before, thought they all had black heads.

After Hubby moved the plants out of the Wintergarten for the summer, I started to clean the windows on the inside and found this wonderful spider. I think it is a Wolf Spider -
