    Thanks Ruby and Woo.

Wonderful shots, Walnut! :thumb: I'm always pleased when I find such a beauty here and have managed to get a few decent pics of them too.

I especially love the pic of the Spider in the Spider Plant - great idea! :):D

Thanks Bob. I'm not sure if I ever saw one before either. I found it just around the corner from my cousins house a few days ago, in Bedfordshire.

I've seen one of those before when I was working in a woodland removing pole sycamore's, it flew up and clung to my fleece for about 45min and then just gently fluttered away:)

Edit: just read a little of that website that bobj mentioned and it fits pretty well with what I saw as I was working in a elm wood...

Thanks Bob, that is a good site and I've added it to my Favourites.

As said in the site, nettles are a favourite foodplant, and there were lots of them around where I found this Comma, although it was sitting on some other leaf.l

I know it looks so in the pic but they had red 'bodies'...not as dark as in the pic.

I'm very proud of myself, walnut, being able to ID something!

I found this garden spider a couple of weeks ago but have only now got around to uploading it.

    Well caught Ruby.
I caught these Longtails just now, they visit occasionally but only stay for a minute or two so getting a pic through the window 'was snap and hope'.
