Seems funny you saying 'first bee' Sis as we seem to have them permanently. Funnily, whilst we were out today, I saw more bee hives on the hillsides than I can remember seeing ... but of course, as you know, honey is very popular here.

Hi Honey .... yes, my sentiments are more with yours ... I'll package them up for the boys ... or better still, they can come and collect them themselves. :yho:

Well, I'm a bit like Nathan and need to get my act together a bit more so apologise for the poor quality of this pic of this little chappie who was hopping around ...

Lovely pic, Woo. :thumb: You really do have luck in catching them in flight or on the lake. Do you sit there patiently and wait or is it just plain luck?

I heard a lot of them the other day, it must have been a giant flock but being a dull day, I just couldn't see them or, at first, or even make out exactly where they were. FINALLY! I saw the tail end of the flock, snapped two pics - and ended up with pics of an empty sky :dh::hehe::hehe:

Oh well, perhaps another time, eh?

Hi Kedi Thank you for your kind words :) , I just sit there Patiently when the wind is blustery and they can only fly so far in to the wind and then they hang in the air for a few seconds before it blows them back again, that's when I try to take the Photo, there,s always an element of luck when I have a camera in my hand :hehe:This was one of 14 Photos,The other 13 have gone in the Bin:dh:
