    Strongylodon,

I would love to take up your offer of seed as I had no idea it could grow so well here. Unfortunately my main mess isn't ready yet but could I propogate some seeds now ready to plant?

LoL, I lived in Western Australia which is mainly dry with bush areas and not a great deal of humidity. I used to just pull over and cut branches off to put in the bird enclosures, not supposed to I know but the recovering wild birds just loved it!

You can sow them now, not the ideal time but not too late. As long as you have somewhere warm to germinate them, they will fairly quickly. Temp of around 21/25c is best, lower and they will take longer. I don't have seed of the common red one at present but I have Pallidus- yellow, Salignus - yellow, Mauve Mist - pink! and Sieberei - pale greenish yellow and Citrinus Splendens - bright red. Apart from the last one they are all fully hardy. Splendens doesn't like hard frosts. If you want any to try PM me.
I have five other varieties but not weather tested yet.
