Anyway, you miserable gits, I'm quite looking forward to it (NYE). My son (lead guitarist) is playing with his band at a pub in Weston Super Mare. They play good ol' rock, ACDC, Thin Lizzy, that kinda thing, so what little hair I have left, is getting let down...Rock on dudes! :D

Now THAT is my idea of a good New years Eve! :dbgrtmb:
I (vaguely) remember a few rollicking good NYE's at such events in my younger days.
          Then I got married.

I think I must be having a party tomorrow. Several people so far have individually told me that they're coming to mine tomorrow for some tinnies.

I'll have to face Tescos again in the morning. If I'm having people round, I supposed I'll have to buy more bread for garlic bread, chillean bread, maybe even push the boat out and make some bruschetta thingies.

Hubby will likely be doing his annual rock radio New Years Eve show and depending on how I feel I may join him for the last couple of hours. Blasting good music through your ears is a decent way to spend the eve.........

To each his own but for me It's a perfect excuse to drink too much in public and for that I will always be grateful for new year :D

I enjoy it these days, we will have a quiet family evening playing games and some nice food. At 12 we go out and watch the fireworks, it's the one time of year you can guarantee they all go off at the same time, we have a good view looking down and across London from our front door and it's always an amazing sight.

In my youth I never enjoyed the idea of cramming into a pub and watching everyone get drunk, I do drink myself but never to excess or to lose control. I'm glad I'm no longer expected to do that.
