        View from the lane ...

        The Almond on the left and Oleander on the right that were cut back in September, another Oleander in background. Tall Geraniums dying off in border and Yukkas doing well and hope they bloom next year. Billbergia nutans in all wall planters will pick up when weather cools. We have dotted Aloe Vera in the borders.

          I think it's getting to everyone @Logan I find I can't concentrate on anything ... (that's not unusual though but in this heat it's worse )

            Its a Ligularia Little Rocket , all they need is moist / wet soil and afternoon shade helps .

                  I like that a lot, thanks @Perki. :) Such a shame though, it would be a non starter here. I have the shade but there's no such thing as moist/wet soil with sandy loam.

                    Plants in pots get fed sort of regularly; flowerbeds get mulched with homemade compost and the odd handful of blood, fish and bone.
