I hate to say it, but only a general election will settle things now.
    We're stuffed.

There is a proverb in Germany:
"Once the cat is out of the house, the mice are dancing on the table."

Maybe this applies to the Queen and
        politicians as well...

We are seeing a whole new level of incompetence.

                Or are we?

The Tory party has always been about shafting the ordinary working class average folk.

Perhaps this is their way of tackling inflation. To get inflation down, the bank of England likes to raise interest rates. Their logic being that if borrowing becomes more expensive then people will spend less, so supply exceeds demand, so prices fall.

Perhaps the government has decided to take it one step further. Let's make it completely impossible for people to make any kind of cash flow projection by constantly changing everything. That way the astute will hold onto their cash because they have no idea whether they'll be destitute or just really, really skint in a few months.

To be fair that was the plan of Labour, so they will probably get blamed for pinching that one, I dont think.

It was summed up well today, anything the public likes the money markets, (and Joe Biden), dont, so guess who's going to get stuffed.

Well I can definitely say billionaires won't get the ugly side of the stick. If history tells you one thing, it's that those making the laws rarely suffer the consequences.

When you think about it who really funds countries and keeps the economy going.
It's the bloke in the street who goes to work everyday and pays his taxes.

You can get some money from billionaires but your never going to get enough, they know all the ways of avoiding tax, unlike most of us.

The state education system does an exceptionally good job of keeping it this way.

State education has one purpose. To create workers who can be employed by the wealthy. That's all. Remember in the height of covid when the government was so desperate to get kids back to school despite rising cases. They could barely conceal their panic and despair that kids were actually learning at home instead of in the institution. It was despair that a whole generation might grow up to challenge the status quo.
