Here's the Clerodendrum last september(I think it is Pink Queen or something). This year many new stems reverted to green so not such a striking shrub.

Strongy, you will find that the parts of variegated plants which are growing in shade, will revert to green, so anything growing lower down the plant overshadowed by the Escallonia, Hydrangea and wall is likely to be green. David.

The green stems are now nearly a metre high as are the hydrangea and Escallonia. When it has finished flowering I will cut the green ones out and next year watch for green ones earlier in the seasons and remove them immediately.

Rigsby, outdoor and hardy and will tolerate most soil conditions. I does sucker therefore shoots may appear a distance away and not where you want them.
