    My grandma always does well with hyacinths....she always has about half the bulb showing at the surface....had you covered the bulbs fully?

    I did.. :redface: instructions even said leave the top of the bulb exposed but I totally ignored them thinking it was the same as outdoor planting.. Ah well, lesson learned!

        Don't worry @Linz id done exactly the same after id been doing the bulb lasagne thingy....lucky mum told me so i dug the indoor ones back up again. Lol.

          Haha ahh well, we know for next time!
          I love doing those lasanges, got a total mishmash going on with the tulips mind, done a few more last autumn too so can't wait to see how they turn out :)
