When I got home from work took a couple of Rose cuttings and then sat in the glorious 'hot' sun and pondered about all what I'm going to do in the garden tomorrow.I've a list as long as you're arm:rolleyespink:...but can't wait, weather is going to be good too:thumbsup:

I bought a tray of 20 pansies for £1 on my way home, so planted them in a container over some daffs. Then I deadheaded all the dahlias and geraniums and swept the patio. Also watered a few things as it's been so dry this past couple of weeks some things are starting to suffer. Not expected for September!

Sorry, I only just saw this - that sounds great, it'd be good to meet everyone and see the garden! I'll keep an eye out around February time.

I've just done a round of watering too, I went outside expecting everything to be fine but the ground was parched! Caught it in time. Otherwise I too have been deadheading, removed plants past their best and generally just tidied up. I planted a blackberry plant too.

It would take me all day to sort those beds out but Mrs Shiney would get through them in a couple of hours. :hate-shocked: :blue thumb: :). She's like a whirlwind when she puts her mind to it.

It's right outside the bosses house, and given that she regularly tells me that she would prefer a job well done and a lot of time gone, rather than a quick half job, I spent about 4/5 hours on one bed xD It was immaculate.

Would Mrs Shiney like my job? xD

cleaning out this long, slop, in the back garden. Digging up dead plants Have to re-vamp the whole thing. putting a list together in my head of variety of shrubs, conifers, and other plants to get. Have to get to the nursery next week to buy lots of pots . but in the process I know I will be digging up extra English canterberry bulbs that just naturally go drifting down this slop, have to give those away or plant somewhere else.

Tidy I did some weeding, scarified, aerated and fed the lawn, dug up plenty of perennials for my friend, planted out a few things including achilla and wallflowers and labelled the things for my friend.

That's the way I like to work, half measures waste more time in the long run. :)

I've been giving my scruffy shed a birthday today, the first coat of Cuprinol on......the second tomorrow.
