Spent today moving everything I could fit into the Greenhouse for their winter rest still two of the 6ft racks will have to come into the flat as my collection has overgrown the Greenhouse somewhat.

I also potted up my winter pansy plug plants into 9cm pots, hopefully they will be ready to plant out properly in a month or so.

Love the picture of Roley :blue thumb:

There's no room in our greenhouse to move anything in to! :hate-shocked:

Cleared (mowed/chopped) about 200 cu ft of leaves. Then gave up.

I've part emptied my greenhouse of tomato plants which I'll finish over the weekend. I then moved onto my two tier bed to clear that of annuals and dig it over.....with some assistance of course. :)

Thanks FC, he/she was having a whale of a time picking over the bed. As soon as I'd finished the Chaffinches were down to join him. :)

Potted on Salvia collection, and took some cuttings from leggy ones. Took more cuttings, of diascia, verbena, penstemon, stocks. Cleared climbing French beans and sowed salad leaves. Must buy one of those 'living lettuce' salads and separate out the plants, to plant in polytunnel. Gave me so many lovely lettuces last year, in late winter. Put off sorting my Annabelle hydrangea, must do it soon as it's got so untidy. Started seed saving with French beans, hesperis, some salvias, cerinthe. Lifted the last of the spuds and pulled a few carrots from the pots in the poly.

Cleared the toms, cleared cucumbers, emptied greenhouse, scrubbed windows, hosed everything, chopped back a shed load of ivy, honeysuckle and other twiney type things. Washed all pots, shredded old toms, planted garlic, cut lawn, annihilated a shrub, tidied strawberries...

                      I'm really tired!

Cleared virtually everything out of the left hand border. Riddled ( over last 5 years) with neighbours ivy, bramble, houttyiana and jasmine. They had choked up everything. Saved Arum Italicum, some cranesbills and Campanula so it won't be bare next Spring. Also dug out a Microphyllia Dysons Salvia that had grown forward- seeking more light and was flopping onto the lawn. Replanted it further back and turned it round the other way. Let's hope it understands and forgives me,
                          Jenny

Nothing today but yesterday I dug out a load more wood aven, moved some phlox, planted out a few more wallflowers and generally just checked on everything. Still got more nettles coming up and manage to sting myself every time, ouch!
