    Most work in the garden is tidying up but I started on a second ShineyFrame yesterday. Got the ground weeded, dug over and composted and laid the membrane down. That's covered an area of 4m x 8m. Now I have to buy 10 x 8ft posts with 3" diameter. I'll get Michael to use his post driver to put them in. Then I'll have to drill each one so I can put four screws in each to take the overhead cables that will make up the framework.

    That will allow me to do away with the wigwams I put in to take the extra bean plants that don't fit the original Frame. It will save a lot of weeding and will let us grow French beans on frames as well.

    I was also searching for the first signs of bee orchids and have marked them with canes (12 so far :blue thumb:).

    Mrs Shiney filled two wheelie bins with the cut down Verbena Bonariensis. The stems are too woody to put on the compost heaps.

      Managed to get a shelter built over the butia, whether it will last the winter remains to be seen.
      Cannas, dahlias ans gingers are coming out tomorrow if the weathers ok in the morning.
      Sown some the palm seeds collected from fuerteventura last week.

        hopefully I can clear the greenhouse & get the fumigation done tomorrow but its like a swap out there so im trying to avoid doing too much when its raining. Which it has been doing. A lot.

          Planted the last of my Tulip bulbs and a few Crocus. Just thinking its nearly 1/2 a year before I'll see my Tulips , my favourite flower :dbgrtmb: I'll replant my little pots off Tete a tete daffs tomorrow in the kitchen bower. Bought them 5 years ago £1 a pot , just plant them in the bower and lift them pot and all every May........................

                Pruned some of the Roses but gave up,fed up of getting wet:gaah:Was also going to move a forgotten Osmanthus that was getting smothered by a conifer but I was sulking by this time:frown:

                          I harvested another bowl of Shiney Hybrids and another dozen Nagas for the Indian restaurant.

                          Mine are still going strong. Naga front left, Carolina Cayenne behind it and most of the others are Shiney Hybrids. From centre front and going out of picture to the right are Shiney Hybrids propagated last month and coming on well.
